Children Curriculum
-
Three and Four Years Old
(Pre-school children must be potty-trained)
- Kindergarten
- Elementary through High School
Children's courses run for 3 hours on Saturday mornings 9:00 AM to 12:0 Noon, from September through May. Students are first grouped by age, then by ability level, ensuring proper attention and challenging, yet appropriate instruction.
Your child(ren) will need books, and regular school supplies for their classes. All text books and German style notebooks (called Hefte) are available for sale at the DANK School Book Store, also on the 3rd floor. We suggest you buy a backpack for DANK School items. This helps your child keep all DANK School material together.
Krabbelgruppe
The DANK School also offers a
Krabbelgruppe (Tots Program). Krabbelgruppe, offered
for 1 1/2 hours, is for toilet-trained youngsters and their parents.
The sessions are on Saturday mornings
and start at 9:30 AM, ending at 10:30 AM. Songs are sung, and a good
time is had by all.
Adult Curriculum We offer classes for beginners, intermediate, and
advanced students. Students will be placed into
levels ranging from beginning to advanced, based on their ability.
Classes are taught by motivated teachers, who understand the
challenges of learning a foreign language in today's busy world.
There are two time slots offered for Adult
classes. Wednesday Evenings, from 6:30 PM to
9:00 PM on the third floor.
Classes start on Wednesday January 30th, and run through May 28th
(18 weeks).
There is a Fall Semester offered as well, starting Wednesday,
September 1 2008, running through January 28th, 2009. For additional
